When I was a kid, I couldn’t stand the sight, or smell, of Brussels sprouts!  I mean, you couldn’t have paid me to eat them. Now, as an adult, I absolutely love them, and knowing how good they are for my body makes them even better!

Brussels sprouts are full of fiber and a great source of Vitamins C and K. They also contain phytonutrients, which are known to lower inflammation and act as an antioxidant. The anti-inflammatory power of Brussels sprouts is linked to a reduced risk of cancer.  So, eat away!

There are so many different ways to cook and enjoy Brussels sprouts. More than likely, you can find a recipe that would make you love them, if you don’t already. I like to make mine very simple with just some olive oil, garlic power, and parmesan cheese. They are just a quick pop into the oven.
