Did you know that your body has a built-in survival mechanism that says, “Feed me what’s good, and you’ll develop a taste for it?”

I swear that I was a rabbit in a previous life, because I crave lettuce and salads!  I have been this way since I was a kid. I am grateful that I was taught at a young age to eat and enjoy real foods like fruits and vegetables. As a result, I crave these foods daily.

Don’t get me wrong, I still treat myself to an occasional pizza or some Twizzlers at the movies. And don’t even get me started on brownies – my favorite!  But the key is that I only eat these occasionally and in moderation. (Life is way too short not to indulge every now and then). However, the more quality, nutritious foods that one eats, the less junk food one will crave.
